A special resin is applied to smaller chips and cracks and the resin spreads to fill the defect. Once it’s done your windshield is safe and ready for the road. It could leave a small cloud or blemish so we would advise you to consider a complete replacement if it is in the line of sight of the driver or the defect is larger than recommended for a repair.
Blas Auto Glass can repair chips that are smaller than the size of a quarter and cracks that are less than 6 inches long. However, as a safety precaution, it is recommended that the windshield be replaced if the damage is in the driver’s line of vision.
